AJR Red Rocks Amphitheatre Concert reviews
Larrabee Jun 01, 2026The Queen of Motown
"I had an amazing time at the AJR concert last night. The audience was fantastic, a mix of motown lovers from different generations. AJR definitely lived up to expectations. She made a grand entrance with her signature sequined gown and over-sized kimono sleeves, coming out to I'm Coming Out. Throughout the event, she had several costume changes, each more fabulous than the last. Even though the concert lasted just 1 hour 20 minutes, every penny of the ticket price was worth it. I was surprised by how many hits she managed to fit into that short time. At 70, one might expect AJR to be losing her voice, but she sounded incredible performing classics like Baby Love and Stop in the Name of Love. Her renditions of ballads like the themes to Mahogany and Endless Love were also fantastic. The highlight of the night was her performance of Ain't No Mountain High Enough, which brought the house down. As a die-hard AJR fan, this concert was a dream come true - truly a concert of a lifetime!"
